Need some real-time support?

These free hotlines are basically the Ghostbusters of mental health. They will pick up when you need to talk, chat, or text anytime, 24/7/365.

Crisis Text Line

The Crisis Text Line is the first hotline to operate completely via text. Their volunteers are trained to help you you get you out of panic mode to a calm place. Text "Start" to 741-741 from your cell anytime, and a counselor will start texting with you.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

You don’t have to be suicidal to call or chat with the Lifeline. The counselors at the Lifeline are trained to talk you through a crisis and can connect you to local resources in your area. If the phone isn’t your style, you can chat with a counselor on the Lifeline’s website. Call 1-800-273-8255 or click here to chat.

If you're a victim of sexual assault or abuse, the counselors at RAINN have your back. Call their confidential support line at 1-800-656-4673 or chat online for emotional support and help figuring out next steps.

Trevor Project

The Trevor Project provides crisis services to LGBTQ people between the ages of 13-24. Don’t worry if you happen to be on the other side of 25, they aren’t going to card you. You can call 1-866-488-7386, chat, or text “Trevor” to 1-202-304-1200 to connect with one of their volunteers.
